We don’t take table bookings at Riverside Kelham, instead, we operate a walk-in service. We have the entire ground floor and garden area – there’s plenty of space.

Riverside Kelham welcomes children under 16 until 9pm. We have a dedicated children’s menu alongside kids’ cutlery, crayons and high chairs to keep your little ones entertained and safe.

Yes. We have three areas available for party hire; the Angels’ Share, the Snug and Courtyard (a section of our garden) with private bar. Celebrate any occasion with our deluxe food and drink packages.

We can accommodate a table booking of 44 people in our private function room, Angels’ Share.

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please speak to a member of the team before placing your order. Full allergen information is available online here or upon request. Food is prepared in an area where other allergens are present and our menu descriptions do not list all ingredients. Fish and poultry products may contain small bones.

Our main food menu has options available for special dietary requirements.

We can cater for a number of dietary requirements easily including but not limited to; vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, lactose free and allergies. Please call ahead to ensure we can cater for you, or in the venue ask to speak to a manager. 

Dishes are marked clearly with the following: V Vegetarian, VO Vegetarian Option Available, VG Vegan, VGO Vegan Option Available.

The toilets are upstairs on the first floor of our building. The wheelchair accessible toilet and baby changing facilities are on the ground floor by the stairs.

The access to the garden is through the terrace doors, to the right of the bar.

Yes, we have a DJ on from 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Yes. Riverside Kelham is wheelchair accessible via the main entrance and a wheelchair accessible toilet is opposite the bar.

No, we don’t offer student discount.

Yes, Riverside Kelham gladly offers a 10% discount to key workers, NHS staff and anyone in the emergency services with a Blue Light Card.

We do not have any on-site parking at Riverside Kelham. There are plenty of places to park on nearby streets. Please visit Sheffield City Council’s website for more information.

Yes. You can use our Wi-Fi for free. Ask a member of staff.

We allow dogs of all sizes inside and outside at The Riverside, but please keep them on a lead. We even have treats for your furry friends behind the bar.

Give the bar a call on 0114 272 4640 and speak to a manager, or message us on Facebook. We keep all lost property for two weeks before it is donated or thrown away.

We recycle all glass, paper and cardboard. We also actively try to minimise our plastic waste by not giving out straws unless asked. Our straws are also biodegradable.

We do not have a particular dress code; however, we may enforce a dress code depending on what’s happening in the area. During the summer months, we ask that you keep your clothes on in our beer garden. Failure to do this may result in you being asked to leave the premises.

Yes, we operate a Challenge 25 scheme. Please always bring an acceptable form of ID with you, if you look under 25 you will be asked at the door by our security, and then inside by the bar staff when you purchase a drink. Failure to produce a valid form of ID will mean you will not be able to be in the venue after 9pm, or be admitted after this time.

We accept the following forms of ID: Passport / Driving License (full and provisional) / a proof of age card from the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme such as the PASS card. We do not accept student cards as forms of ID, or international ID cards.

Paying homage to Chris Bracey, the late ‘Neon Man’ – who was a neon sign designer and collector in London – we have started our very own small collection of signs at The Riverside. Chris ran a workshop called ‘Gods Own Junkyard’ in London, which still showcases his work as a neon sign designer and collector.

Building on this, we have a variety of signs that we think are relevant to the Kelham area, whether that be ‘Alright Sausage’ or the controversial ‘Sex Shop Downstairs’ sign that has set a lot of tongues wagging! We want to celebrate everything that Kelham was and is today, and like to keep things a bit fun and tongue-in-cheek.

Understandably we have made some changes in light of social distancing and heightened safety measures for both or staff and guests.  

Some of the measures are: 

• Enhanced cleaning regimes  
• Distancing measures 
• Hand sanitiser freely available  
• Staff safety training

When you make a purchase in one of our venues please hand over your Reward Card for your server to scan. If you do not have your card on you at the time you can add your points using the code on your receipt. To do this, go to your online reward account, click ‘Redeem Code’ and enter the code as it appears on the bottom of the receipt.

Yes. You can redeem the True North Brew Co gift card in venues operated by True North Brew Co. Gift cards can be used to purchase goods and services in venue.
